Beginning Quilting



You will be making a row quilt, using traditional blocks in a modern setting. Each week you will focus on one or two blocks, which students will continue to work on at home to complete a full row of blocks.


Skill Level: beginner
Skill Details: Beginner but must have some sewing machine skills and knowledge
Requirements: Bring your machine and basic supplies. Bee will be providing you with the list. Also, Bee encourages everyone to contact her in advance of the class regarding fabric selection. Bee is here on Tuesday and Thursday mornings.
Instructor: Bee Saunders
Instructor Bio: Bee, the president of the Modern Quilt Guild in Santa Barbara and a member of the Coastal Quilt Guild, joined Grant House Sewing Machines this summer and taught three summer camps for kids. During the camps, the children made quilted animal pillows with extraordinary results!
