In this 2 hour session, you will develop your sewing skills while working on your choice of projects with Anzhela, our sewing and fashion design expert.

Have a garment that needs to be hemmed, fitted, or altered? Angelica will help you do it yourself! She will teach you the process while working in our professional sewing studio. Call (805) 962-0929 to make a 2-hour appointment during the hours of 10:00am-3:00pm, Tuesday - Friday. Cost: $150

Fashion Club is a unique program for kids and teens, thoughtfully developed by fashion designer and educator Anzhela Martynava. This program offers students ongoing education in the art of making clothing within a caring environment. Running from September through May, Fashion Club develops creativity and skills step by step, ensuring students' growth and enjoyment throughout the school year. We welcome new students as well as those returning from last year.

This quilt comes together quickly to make a lovely wall hanging. The houses and trees are easy to piece together, and then you combine them with a background to make a fun little village. You'll make the quilt from beginning to end, so you'll have a completely finished project, not just a quilt top! September 5, 12, 19, 10:30-1:30.

From the basics to advanced features, Lauren will teach you everything you want to know about your machine! Whether it's a sewing machine, embroidery machine, serger, or coverstitch, we've got you covered. Tuesdays and Thursdays 2:00pm-3:00pm, Fridays 10:30-11:30. For embroidery, coverstitch, and high-end machines, call 805-962-0929 to make arrangements before signing up.

Cutting and piecing will be completed during the first class. You’ll do the quilting at home (with guidance) and by the end of the second session you’ll have a beautiful wall-hanging or pillow cover! Or, make four and turn it into a small quilt! The project is entirely rotary-cut and traditionally pieced, requiring no paper-piecing. Sat. August 22nd, 10am - 4pm & Saturday August 29th, 10am - 1pm.

You will learn how to make continuous binding strips with mitred joins, how to achieve perfectly neat mitred corners and how to have the binding ‘full’ and consistent! Thursday September 3, 4:30 - 7:30pm.

Join our new School of Sewing program for brand new sewists, and those with some experience that want to gain a firm foundation of sewing skills while making a variety of fun projects. These classes are based on the wonderful "School of Sewing" book by Shea Henderson. The lessons are designed to guide first-time sewists and complete beginners as you learn to use your sewing machine and discover the wonderful things you can create and be proud to use! Thursday mornings 10am-1pm. Session 1: September 3, 10, 17, 24. For October-December, go to "School of Sewing Session 2-4". Adults 18+.

Thursday mornings 10am-1pm. Three mornings per month, October to December. Adults 18+. Cost: $180. Students must take Session 1 in September first.
