Learn Your Machine: One on One Lesson with Lauren

Sit down for an hour with our in-house sewing expert and become one with your machine. We will start at your level and cover whatever you're interested in. Whether it's a sewing machine, embroidery machine, serger, or coverstitch, we've got you covered. Tuesdays and Thursdays 2:00pm-3:00pm, Fridays 10:30-11:30. For embroidery, coverstitch, and high-end machines, call 805-962-0929 to make arrangements before signing up.  This is for domestic sewing machines: please call us for instruction on other machines. 

Open to students of all sewing levels, this course is designed to build confidence with any aspect of your machine. This can include:
- Basics like threading, winding a bobbin, and slecting stitches
- Learning how to use the various feet and accessories for your machine
- Applications for utility and decorative stitches
- Setting up the machine for working with a variety of materials and projects 
- Machine embroidery
- Anything else 

Students under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

- Your Machine in good working order. There won't be time for service or repairs during the class. 
- Small samples of any particular materials you want to use. 
- Thread, etc supplies can be purchased in store.
