Have Fun Sewing Summer Camp Kids Ages 8-12 10AM - 1PM



We're excited to offer Have Fun Sewing Summer Camp for Kids 8-12 Years Old
Learn the basics and take those skills to a higher and higher level!

The Details:
5 Sessions, Each Weeklong Session includes 3 Hours of Sewing 10am to 1pm five days a week, Monday thru Friday
Ages: Students 8 to 12 Years Old
Skill Level: Introductory or Beginners
Machines will be provided and available for purchase at the end of each session.

A student can sign up for all five sessions and progress their skills each week. Alternatively, students can pick whichever week(s) fit their schedules best or the projects they're most interested in!

Week 2 June 26th - 30th Introduction to Accessories: Pencil Case & Tote Bag
    No Classes this week due to the Fourth of July Holiday
Week 3 July 10th - 14th Introduction to Quilting: Basic Quilt or Patchwork Postage Stamp Quilt
Week 4 July 17th - 21st Introduction to Garment Making: Circle Cape or Cloak with Hood
Week 5 July 24th - 28th Introduction to Garment Making: Pajama Pants


Required Materials:
Required materials will be provided. Sewing Machines will be provided in class and will be available for purchase once the session has ended with student discounts.

Instructor: Amanda Kamlet
Instructor Bio: Amanda has always loved crafting and grew up doing a variety of crafts including sewing, crochet, and embroidery. She's been living in Santa Barbara on and off since 2015 and teaches social studies at Santa Barbara Middle School. She loves working with students and teaching them new ways of crafting and how to expand their ability of sharing their creativity.
