Have Fun Sewing Summer Camp Teens Ages 13-17 2PM - 5PM



We're excited to offer Have Fun Sewing Summer Camp for Teens 13-17 Years Old
Learn the basics and take those skills to a higher and higher level!

The Details:
5 Sessions, Each Weeklong Session includes 3 Hours of Sewing 2pm to 5pm five days a week, Monday thru Friday
Ages: Students 13 to 17 Years Old
Skill Level: Beginners 
Machines will be provided and available for purchase at the end of each session.

A student can sign up for all five sessions and progress their skills each week. Alternatively, students can pick whichever week(s) fit their schedules best or the projects they're most interested in!

Week 1 June 19th - 23rd Intro to Accessories: Circle Cape, Pencil Case & Fold Over Tote Bag
Week 2 June 26th - 30th Intro to Quilting: Basic Quilt or Patchwork Postage Stamp Quilt
    NO CLASS FOURTH OF JULY WEEK 
Week 3 July 10th - 14th Intro to Garment Making: Pajama Pants or Joggers! 
Week 4 July 17th - 21st Intro to Garment Making: The Wilder Gown or Shirt Pattern
Week 5 July 24th - 28th Intro to Accessories: Mini Quilted Bag or Clutch with Long Strap


Required Materials:
Required Materials will be provided. Sewing Machines will be provided in class and will be available for purchase once the session has ended with student discounts.

Instructor: Amanda Kamlet
Instructor Bio: Amanda has always loved crafting and grew up doing a variety of crafts including sewing, crochet, and embroidery. She's been living in Santa Barbara on and off since 2015 and teaches social studies at Santa Barbara Middle School. She loves working with students and teaching them new ways of crafting and how to expand their ability of sharing their creativity.
