Intro to Quilting: 3 Yard Quilts!

Get ready to take your sewing and quilting skills to a new level with our Intro to Quilting: 3 Yard Quilts!

Select 3 yards of your favorite cotton quilting fabrics here at the store and sew a beautiful quilt top. Choose your favorite pattern from the book and Louise, our in-house quilting expert, will teach you how to read a quilt pattern and will guide you through the process of measuring, cutting, and assembling the quilt pieces to make a beautiful quilt top!

At the end of the class, once you've completed your beautiful quilt top, you'll review next steps of how much cotton batting you'll need and how to assemble and quilt the layered pieces (quilt top, batting, and quilt back) all together. 

Open to students of all sewing levels, this course is designed to teach the basics in quilting and creating a classic patchwork quilt top. Great for students who are getting back into sewing and simply need a refresher or anyone who is new to the sewing or quilting world. Please make sure your machine is in working order prior to class start!

- 5 Hours of In-person Instruction here at the store during class hours

Additional Required Tools & Supplies:
- Sewing Machine in working order - please test your machine and make sure it works before class starts!
- 3 Yards of Material can be purchased here at the store
- 24" Ruler
- 1/4" Presser Foot
- Seem Ripper
- Rotary Cutter or scissors
- Batting and Quilt Back fabric
