Open Sew Studio with Bee
Sign up for 1 hour or 2 to work on your current sewing projects. Work alongside other sewists to complete your projects, and have the support of our fantastic instructor, Bee! Bring your projects, your sewing machine, and any notions to help with your projects. We will have machines, ironing stations, and cutting tables for you to use as well.
Open Sew will be:
Tuesdays, 6:00pm-8:00pm
Wednesdays, 10:00am-12:00pm

| Instructor Bio: | I’m originally from a small town near Manchester, England, and in 2009, my husband Eric and I began a life-changing adventure that brought us to Santa Barbara, California. Since then, I’ve expanded my family, adopted a couple of cats, pursued my passions, improved my mental well-being, and launched my own business, "Bee Your Best". For over a decade, I’ve been an avid sewist and quilter. I’m passionate about creativity, color, pattern, and innovation, and I love sharing that knowledge and enthusiasm with others. My experience includes working in quilt shops, designing and running group and private sewing programs for children, teaching beginner quilting lessons to adults, and serving as President of the Coastal Quilters' Guild of Santa Barbara and Goleta. Teaching and learning have always been at the core of my life. I’m passionate about helping both children and adults reach their full potential and prepare for a bright future. Empowering others to achieve their creative dreams is fundamental to my teaching style. I’ve learned a lot through mistakes, persistence, and commitment, and I’m eager to inspire others on their own journeys.
