Stack and Flip Quilt with Louise
Make this beautiful quilt with just one jelly roll! Our quilting expert Louise will take you through making this easy yet striking design. Great for beginners. See sample in store. Dates: Two Saturdays, October 25 and November 1, 10:30am - 3:00pm. Extra time in the afternoon is included so students can work at their own pace. You may want to bring a snack or lunch.
Even if you've never made a quilt before, you will have a great time in this class. There will be two sessions. In the first session you will learn how to make the quilt top and begin sewing it together. Session two will cover finishing the quilt, including pinning, quilting, and binding. If you want to use one of our sewing machines, please call 805-962-0929 to reserve one. Students will receive a 10% discount on materials for the class, please ask at checkout.
Equipment and Materials
Sewing machine in good working order with a 1/4" piecing foot
1 Jelly Roll, 2 1/2" wide
1 1/2 yards fabric for sashing and borders
5 yards fabric for backing
Thread to match fabric
