Anna Maria Bespoke Quilt No. 3

This amazing quilt is much easier than it looks! The gorgeous Anna Maria prints are strategically cut to make the block designs, with a fun applique block at the corners. With expert guidance from our outstanding quilting teacher Bee Saunders, you will make this quilt in four, 3-hour sessions on Thursdays, May 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th 10:30am - 1:30pm.  Fabric Kit $250 + tax after 20% class discount, Class Fee $250. The classroom is open for setup at 10:00am, and students are encouraged to bring lunch or a snack. NOTE: there will be work to complete between sessions. Skill level: Confident Beginner/Intermediate

Techniques: Machine piecing, raw-edge machine applique, fussy cutting. No experience with applique or fussy cutting necessary. 

Fabrics:

The fabric kit (available in store) includes all fabrics for the quilt top and binding, a full color pattern booklet, and acrylic templates for the applique. Backing fabric purchased separately. 

Equipment and Supplies, available in store:

Sewing machine in good working order with 1/4" foot
Neutral colored thread for piecing and matching thread in bobbin
Rotary cutter, large cutting mate, and quilting rulers: suggested 6 1/2 x 6 1/2, 6 x 12, and 6 x 24
Basic sewing tools (small scissors or snips, stiletto, seam ripper, pins, marking pen or pencil)
Roxanne's Glue-Baste It
Pellon 805 Wonder Under, Sulky Totally Stable for machine applique
Paper and pencil for notes, and for labelling cut fabric and blocks
Painter's tape is also helpful for marking blocks
