Fit & Sew a Classic Button-Front Shirt with Elizabeth Bryant
Learn fitting techniques and garment sewing as you Fit & Sew a classic button front-shirt, a staple of any wardrobe. Elizabeth will guide you through taking measurements, selecting a size, and custom fitting this great shirt pattern to fit you perfectly! You'll learn how to: fit a top to your back, shoulders and bust; sew and finish flat felled seams for an elegant finish; manipulate and sew darts; fit and set in short cuffed sleeves; and how to make a collar.
Equipment and supplies (available in store):
Sewing machine in good working order, narrow edge/joining/stitch in the ditch foot strongly encouraged. Ask Matt at the shop about which foot you need for your machine. Serger helpful but not required.
3 yards of lightweight woven fabric such as cotton chambray, lawn, voile, rayon, or quilting cotton. Up to 4 yards for larger sizes and pattern matching.

1 yard lightweight fusible interfacing
5 - 1/2" or 5/8" buttons
